Recreating the Fashions of Frida Kahlo

During her lifetime, Frida’s style underwent many phases. She went from wearing long skirts and plain blouses in her childhood to dark suits and finally bright, colorful clothes with traditional Mexican folk-art flair. She was not a fussy dresser. If she wore accessories they were paired with simple clothes. She often covered herself with large shawls over ankle-length dresses.
